Cheyenne Real Estate Market April 2017

Wondering how the Cheyenne real estate market is doing? Take a look at the market statistics for April 2017.

The average days on market for homes inside the city of Cheyenne for April was only 36 days compared to 50 days in April of 2016. The rural properties increased to 65 days which is up 2 days from last year.

Cheyenne’s median sales price for April 2017 was $217,900 and the average sales price was $234,219, both up from last year’s statistics.

We had 2.5 months supply of homes in the city and 3.4 months supply for rural residential.  A seller’s market is usually when you have anything under 6 months supply.

Cheyenne’s housing market is still definitely in the favor of sellers, but the number of active listings has been increasing which is much needed for Laramie County.
